To demonstrate the industrial applicability of ceramic 3D printing, a previously manual manufacturing process was digitally reimagined as part of this research. The special bricks used as an example offer the possibility of creating facade-integrated nesting opportunities for endangered species. By using additive manufacturing methods, a significant reduction in process times has been achieved even on a laboratory scale.
