In this research, strategies to overcome the material-related limitations of printed clay were investigated. A number of strategies for supporting the overhanging areas were investigated and evaluated on the basis of surface quality, processing speed, geometric accuracy and practicability. A bridge-like structure serves as an illustrative piece.
