House D
Conversion of a historic farmhouse
Kinzig valley, 2020
in cooperation with Adrian Talmon
By opening up the originally small cellular structure of the first floor, a sequence of rooms was created in which all living functions are interconnected. The timber framing recovered during the renovation was refurbished and showcased. A generous sitting window creates a connection to the garden with its orchard. The upper floor contains the private rooms, which are subdivided by custom-made carpentry furniture.
