Conversion of a barn into a residential building
Odenwald region, 2021
in cooperation with Adrian Talmon
As part of the village renewal, this former auxiliary building was converted into a residential building. The existing levels made it possible to vary the room heights, allowing the spatial sequences on both floors to be experienced in a differentiated way. By using materials typical in the area, a contemporary conversion was realized which, despite everything, blends carefully into the townscape.
