Construction of a laboratory and institute building, preliminary study

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Technology at the University of Rostock intends to build a new laboratory and institute building. For this preliminary study, particular attention was paid to the two large experimental facilities required. The plans also provide space for five professorships as well as the student council. The need for new studying spaces was addressed through the addition of a lecture hall, various seminar rooms and spacious open work areas in the foyers.
