Wallflowerwall

Technical University of Darmstadt, 2024

Within this project, the potential of using 3D-printed ceramic components for façade greening was examined. For this purpose, geometries were developed that can be integrated into conventional masonry structures. Their contemporary, undulating shape forms pockets that can be used as planting spaces. By using undemanding plants such as ferns, mosses and wallflowers, a favorable growth behavior as well as low maintenance was achieved.
