studio5a is an architectural office founded in 2020 and based in Darmstadt, Germany. Our field of activity ranges from the planning of buildings and interiors through the design of furniture and objects up to research and teaching. We cooperate with a constantly growing network of experts from various professions and are open to new influences.

We perceive architecture as a holistic approach to solving challenges in the built environment. For us, creating good architecture means coordinating a multitude of different influences and extracting the optimal solution for a specific project from these. Besides the compliance with building regulations and normative requirements, the factors of people, environment and society are the most important addressees of our work.
